Online Training in Derivatives

Options are unique from their underlying equities in having both a strike price and an expiration date. In addition to addressing the question of "up or down?", the option adds "by how much?" and "in what time frame?" to the investment decision. As such, equity derivatives help investors meet tailored risk/return objectives. Macro Risk Advisors is committed to playing a leading role in the education process for the investor community. We are in the process of creating a series of online video lectures that will be available on this website. The first series of lectures is a 10 part course that provides an introduction to equity derivatives theory and applications. The course will make extensive use of real world applications and scenario analysis illustrated through Bloomberg. A summary of the course contents is provided below. The second series of lectures builds on the first but is more advanced. Please check with us regularly or feel free to make suggestions on course contents.
