Dean Curnutt is President of Macro Risk Advisors where
he oversees the firm's plan to help clients achieve superior investment results
by providing valuable market insight and efficient transaction execution. Prior
to forming MRA, Dean was Managing Director and Head of Equity Sales-trading at
Banc of America Securities where he was a member of the Global Equities
Management Team that set direction for the division. Previously at BofA, Dean
was Head of Institutional Equity Derivatives and Convertible Sales at BofA. The
equity derivatives team was ranked first in overall listed option market share
in 2007 and was named the 2005 US Equity Derivatives House of the Year by
Derivatives Week for its innovative work to create Options on Realized variance.
Dean is often quoted in the financial press and is a frequent speaker at
client and industry conferences. He has presented on financial topics at the
University of Chicago, the New York Society of Securities Analysts, the CBOE
Risk Management Conference and Risk Institute. In 2007 he was invited and
appeared as the first derivatives panelist at the Barron's Art of Successful
Investing Conference.
Dean holds an MBA in analytical finance with highest honors from the
University of Chicago where he received the Citibank Award for best performance
in finance. He received a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, from St. John's
University. He lives in New York City with his wife and two sons and daughter.

Michael Buckjune is an Institutional Salestrader at
Macro Risk Advisors. He has a broad range of portfolio, risk management and
trading skills across the full spectrum of equities, fixed income, currencies
and commodities. He also has a depth of knowledge in derivatives across each of
these products in both developed and emerging markets. Prior to joining Macro
Risk Advisors, Michael was the Head of Trading for the Global Macro Fund at
Fortress Investment Group. He was involved in the investment process, portfolio
construction and oversaw the global execution of macro trading strategies across
all asset classes. Previously he was the Head Trader at Cramer Berkowitz helping
to manage a long/short equity portfolio and derivatives strategies across a wide
range of industry sectors. Michael spent the early part of his career at
JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley focused on exotic and vanilla derivatives trading in
markets ranging from Fixed Income to Emerging Markets, Currencies and High
Yield. |

Jarret Christie is an Institutional Salestrader at Macro Risk Advisors and contributes to the firm's client development efforts. He provides strategy and execution across index and single stock options, as well as cash equities, ETFs, and ADRs. Prior to joining MRA, Jarret worked at Citadel, providing services and technology to third party hedge funds. Jarret began his career at Bank of America selling prime brokerage, total return swaps, and other equity and credit financing arrangements. Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Jarret holds a BBA in Finance from the
University of Kentucky, where he was a scholarship member of the men’s soccer
team and recipient of the Wildcat Scholar-Athlete of the Year award. He
currently resides in Manhattan. |

Danny Kirsch is an Institutional Salestrader at Macro
Risk Advisors. He provides strategy, market color, and execution in the areas of
index and equity options as well as cash and ETF products. Prior to joining
Macro Risk Advisors, Danny was a member of the Institutional equity derivative
sales group at Banc of America Securities. During his time at BofA, he spent 2
years in London building their Equity Derivative Sales Platform. While in
London, Danny covered hedge fund clients and his responsibilities included
strategy and trade execution for vanilla options and over-the-counter volatility
products across Asia, Europe, and US markets. In addition, he published several
pieces introducing new over-the-counter products to the platform as well as
educational materials to help fundamental equity investors become more
comfortable trading listed options.
Danny has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Steven M. Ross
School of Business at the University of Michigan with a concentration in finance
and accounting. He currently resides in Manhattan.

Katya Kouznetsov is an Executive Assistant at Macro
Risk Advisors. She offers the team administrative support, health coaching, and
is also involved in planning and executing the MRA social calendar of events.
Prior to joining Macro Risk in 2009, Katya was with Quintessentially, the
world’s leading luxury lifestyle group, where she managed customer service and
retention efforts. Katya has a BA in Art History and Communication from Rutgers
University. Additionally, she attended the Institute of Integrative Nutrition
and is certified as a Health Coach by the AADP and Suny Purchase College. Katya
is originally from St. Petersburg, Russia and currently resides in Manhattan.

Ed Lalanne is a Strategist at Macro Risk Advisors. He
helps clients position portfolios and understand the potential impact of sources
of systemic risk across various asset classes. Ed performs this role through
original research, striving to add value by providing a fresh perspective to the
risk / reward landscape. Prior to joining MRA, Ed was a managing member at
startup global macro hedge fund Greengold Capital. Earlier, he was a risk
arbitrageur at March Partners, a hedge fund. At March, Ed invested in merger and
special situations globally. He began his career as a Nasdaq market maker and an
equities program trader at Lehman Brothers. Ed has experience investing across a
range of securities including equities, options, futures, commodities, swaps,
corporate debt, government debt, and foreign exchange. He earned a BA in Geology
from Dartmouth College and an MBA with distinction in Analytical Finance from
the Kellogg School of Management. |

George Lam is a Risk Management Strategist at Macro
Risk Advisors. He provides analytics enabling clients to identify and better
understand market and trading risk. Prior to joining Macro Risk Advisors, George
worked as a trader for start-up hedge fund Amadour Capital. George also worked
for Marathon Asset Management as a risk analyst and trader in convertibles,
volatility arbitrage, risk arbitrage, long-short equity and distressed
securities.
George has Bachelors of Science degrees in Physics and Economics from MIT.

Jonathan McLaughlin is an Institutional Salestrader at
Macro Risk Advisors. Prior to joining Macro Risk Advisors in 2008, Jonathan was
a crude oil derivatives broker at Tullet Prebon where he developed option
strategies and executed orders for clients. Previously, Jonathan worked in
global emerging markets at JPMorgan and Santander, specializing in fixed income
technology & risk-management projects. Earlier, Jonathan worked for
Cedarcrest Capital modeling portfolios of distressed debt.
Originally from San Jose, Costa Rica, Jonathan has a BA in Economics from
Columbia University.

Phillip Rapoport is a Salestrader at Macro Risk
Advisors. He covers an institutional client base and helps them design and
implement trades in equities and equity derivatives. In addition to client
facing responsibilities, he is also an active source of content for MRA’s
published strategy products. He has had writing published in Risk Magazine,
Derivatives Week, and other industry publications. Prior to joining Macro Risk
Advisors, Phillip was a sales person on the “CSFT” team at Goldman Sachs. Within
this cross asset group, he helped hedge fund clients identify and trade
strategies across the asset spectrum, transacting in a broad variety of products
but often focusing on cross asset volatility opportunities and equity volatility
strategies. Phillip began his career at Bank of America on the equity
derivatives sales desk. At BofA, he held both a transactional role on a flow
desk transacting in options, stock, and ETFs, as well as a publishing role
within the strategy team. Phillip is an alum of Columbia University where he
studied Philosophy and Economics. | |
