Gabe Catala is an Institutional Salestrader at Macro Risk Advisors.
Prior to joining Macro Risk Advisors in 2009, Gabe was a member of the equity
derivatives sales desk at Banc of America Securities. At BofA he covered hedge
fund clients that traded equity options. In addition, Gabe contributed to the
desk’s equity derivatives strategy platform by generating trade ideas in both
listed and OTC option products and by creating analytical spreadsheets that help
clients uncover investment opportunities. Previously, Gabe interned at Citigroup
in their Debt Capital Markets division, focusing on asset backed securitization.
Gabe has a BS in Business Administration from the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill and grew up in Florida. He currently resides in
Manhattan. |

Dean Curnutt is President of Macro Risk Advisors where he oversees the
firm's plan to help clients achieve superior investment results by providing
valuable market insight and efficient transaction execution. Prior to forming
MRA, Dean was Managing Director and Head of Equity Sales-trading at Banc of
America Securities where he was a member of the Global Equities Management Team
that set direction for the division. Previously at BofA, Dean was Head of
Institutional Equity Derivatives and Convertible Sales at BofA. The equity
derivatives team was ranked first in overall listed option market share in 2007
and was named the 2005 US Equity Derivatives House of the Year by Derivatives
Week for its innovative work to create Options on Realized variance.
Dean
is often quoted in the financial press and is a frequent speaker at client and
industry conferences. He has presented on financial topics at the University of
Chicago, the New York Society of Securities Analysts, the CBOE Risk Management
Conference and Risk Institute. In 2007 he was invited and appeared as the first
derivatives panelist at the Baron's Art of Successful Investing
Conference.
Dean holds an MBA in analytical finance with highest honors
from the University of Chicago where he received the Citibank Award for best
performance in finance. He received a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, from
St. John's University. He lives in New York City with his wife and two sons and
daughter. |

Justin Golden is an Institutional Salestrader at Macro Risk Advisors.
He provides strategy and execution in the areas of index and equity options as
well as cash and etf products. Prior to joining MRA, Justin was a Principal at
Bank of America. During his 5 year tenure at BofA, he spent 2 years in London
building their Institutional Equity Derivative Sales effort. In London he
directly managed a team that was responsible for dealing in vanilla option and
synthetic volatility products across Asian, European and US markets. Further, he
published and presented educational materials to a number of institutional
clients on topics such as option trading for fundamental investors, in an effort
to bridge the gap between volatility and long/short strategies. At BofA, he led
the Equity Derivatives Strategy effort while representing equity derivatives on
internal multi-asset class teams. Justin started his career covering hedge funds
as a member of Deutsche Bank’s Equity Derivatives Sales team.
Justin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Steven M. Ross
School of Business at the University of Michigan with a concentration in finance
and corporate strategy. He currently resides in Manhattan. |

Danny Kirsch is an Institutional Salestrader at Macro
Risk Advisors. He provides strategy, market color, and execution in the areas of
index and equity options as well as cash and ETF products. Prior to joining
Macro Risk Advisors, Danny was a member of the Institutional equity derivative
sales group at Banc of America Securities. During his time at BofA, he spent 2
years in London building their Equity Derivative Sales Platform. While in
London, Danny covered hedge fund clients and his responsibilities included
strategy and trade execution for vanilla options and over-the-counter volatility
products across Asia, Europe, and US markets. In addition, he published several
pieces introducing new over-the-counter products to the platform as well as
educational materials to help fundamental equity investors become more
comfortable trading listed options.
Danny has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Steven M. Ross
School of Business at the University of Michigan with a concentration in finance
and accounting. He currently resides in Manhattan. |

Katya Kouznetsov is an Executive Assistant at Macro Risk Advisors.
Prior to joining Macro Risk in 2009, Katya was with Quintessentially, the
world’s leading luxury lifestyle group, where she managed customer service and
retention efforts. Katya has a BA in Art History and Communication from Rutgers
University. She is originally from St. Petersburg, Russia and currently resides
in Manhattan. |

Jonathan McLaughlin is an Associate at Macro Risk Advisors. Prior to
joining Macro Risk Advisors in 2008, Jonathan was a crude oil derivatives broker
at Tullet Prebon where he developed option strategies and executed orders for
clients. Previously, Jonathan worked in global emerging markets at JPMorgan and
Santander, specializing in fixed income technology & risk-management
projects. Earlier, Jonathan worked for Cedarcrest Capital modeling portfolios of
distressed debt and defaulted tax liens.
Originally from Quepos, Costa
Rica, Jonathan has a BA in Economics from Columbia University. He currently
resides in Manhattan. |

Phillip Rapoport is an Institutional Salestrader and an active
participant in the strategy publication effort at MRA. Prior to joining the
firm, Phillip was on the Capital Structure “CSFT” desk at Goldman Sachs where he
helped hedge fund clients identify and execute opportunities across the capital
structure and across asset classes. Phillip began his career on the equity
derivatives sales desk at Bank of America Securities.
Originally from
Houston, Texas, Phillip attended Columbia University where he studied Philosophy
and Economics as an undergraduate. |

Jon Simblist is responsible for developing operational and technology
components of the business at Macro Risk Advisors. Jon brings his unique
background in electronic option execution and a deep understanding of the
operational and clearing aspects of the options business to our agency model.
Prior to joining Macro Risk Advisors in 2008, Jon was a Vice President with Banc
of America Securities where in his most recent role he spearheaded the
Electronic Option sales effort. In this capacity he coordinated development of
advanced electronic option trading solutions for institutional clients and
worked across multiple internal groups including equity derivatives, ETS, middle
office, compliance and technology. In his prior role at BofA, Jonathan was a
member of the team that provided middle office and operational support to the
Equity derivatives desk. Jonathan also formerly held a client service position
at UBS within the Exchange Traded Derivatives group.
Jon has a BA in
International Business from the University of Rhode Island and grew up in
Stamford Connecticut. He currently resides in Manhattan. |
